RocketBeats X Practice with Ella

Bradford Immersive 2026

An intensive weekend designed to move, explore, and go a bit deeper into your practice

So… what is RocketBeats?

In case you haven’t encountered it already, RocketBeats is a dynamic, breath-led vinyasa practice that blends strength, flexibility and intelligent movement. It’s influenced by Rocket Yoga and focuses on how you move—and how to make that work better for you.

We work with four directions of travel. The structure stays the same, but the way we explore it is always evolving:

  • UP – shoulders + upper body (arm balances, inversions, binds)

  • DOWN – hips + lower body (standing balances, hip openers, strength work)

  • FORWARDS – compression + folding (core, transitions, presses)

  • BACKWARDS – opening the front body (backbends, glutes, spinal work)

The aim isn’t to “master” anything—it’s to spend time with each area, understand it more clearly, and start to recognise the difference between what you want to do, what you tend to do, and what might actually support you.

What the weekend looks like

We’ll run 4 x 150-minute sessions across the weekend, each dedicated to one direction.

Each session includes:

  • a clear breakdown of the direction (what we’re doing + why)

  • a focused workshop (strength, drills, technique)

  • a full RocketBeats practice to integrate it all

There’s a strong physical focus, but the work isn’t just about shapes—it’s about paying attention to how you move, how you respond, and what you start to notice when you do.

The sessions

Saturday – UP

Shoulders, arms, and building the strength to support your practice off the ground.

We’ll explore how to develop strength across different ranges so your arm balances and inversions feel more stable, efficient, and repeatable.

Expect: arm balances, inversions, transitions, and binds.

Saturday – DOWN

Hips and legs—creating strength and mobility where it really counts.

We’ll focus on glute strength and hip mobility to support more stable, controlled standing balances and smoother transitions between them.

Expect: strong standing work, balance, and hip opening that actually carries over into your practice.

Sunday – FORWARDS

Compression, core, and the mechanics of moving forwards and back.

We’ll break down the strength and coordination needed for floating, pressing, and navigating transitions with more control.

Expect: deep core work, hip compression, and opportunities to explore presses and transitions.

Sunday – BACKWARDS

Opening the front body with strength and support.

We’ll look at how to use glutes, core, and shoulders to create backbends that feel more even, controlled, and sustainable.

Expect: a range of backbends, approached with more awareness and structure.

Who’s it for?

If you already have a regular dynamic practice and feel ready to go a bit deeper-this is for you.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to explore, pay attention, and be part of the process.

Teachers are very welcome, but so is anyone who simply wants to understand their practice more and build something a bit more well-rounded.

Teaching team

You’ll be guided by Imi, Alan & Ella—bringing together years of shared practice, teaching, and similar but different approaches to dynamic yoga.

There’s no single “right” way you’ll be asked to move. Instead, the focus is on offering clear frameworks, useful challenges, and the space to work things out in your own body.

It’s a practice that’s physical, but also thoughtful—something you feel, test, question, and gradually make your own, alongside other people doing the same.
