About

Practice With Ella offers high energy, dynamic yoga and movement practices in the heart of Shipley.

Created by dance artist and yoga teacher Ella Tighe, the classes fuse RocketBeats yoga, strength drills, inversions, and flexibility work.

It’s yoga, but not as you know it: expect sweat, structure, and a strong focus on skill-building. The classes have been designed to compliment one another, you have your classic RocketBeats flow class to do your focused yoga, paired with your skills based class to tune in on the skills you wish to progress in your practice.

Whether you're working towards handstands, building upper body strength, or improving flexibility, every class is designed to challenge you and move you forward.

It’s about consistency, simply showing up, and celebrating what your body can do.

Practice with Ella is a community of practitioners who give things a go, support one another and have a laugh as we battle through one more side plank or chaturanga.

Classes are for everybody; Rocket based practices can intimidate people. Yes, it is fast paced and yes some people might be upside down a lot! But RocketBeats uses accessible language, foundational drills and gives you plenty of options to modify the practice to meet your needs. Your practice, your choice!

About Ella

Ella Tighe is a dance-maker and yoga teacher.
She has taught yoga in London, The Netherlands and now in Bradford!

Movement has always been her passion and she loves to share what she has and is learning with her students.

She loves silly little drills that look easy but are really hard, being upside down and cheerleading her students on through class.

Over the past 4 years teaching in Bradford, Ella found that her classes gained a bit of a reputation for being a bit hardcore as far as yoga is concerned! That people tend to shy away from Rocket based practices, for thinking they are “not good enough because they can’t do a handstand” or “its too hard” . Rocket, like any other yoga practice isn’t about whether you can do all the things - it’s about showing up, giving it a go and what you learn about yourself in the process. The great thing about this practice is there will always be a moment where you find yourself bursting into laughter with a group of people as you all attempt a ridiculous arm balance together - that can be quite fun!

Ella has been practicing and teaching yoga for 10 years and has trained with some of the most influential dynamic yoga teachers in the business. All of whom continue to inspire her teaching. Through Practice with Ella she aims to provide regular high quality teaching to her community alongside bringing some of the teachers who have influenced her practice up to Yorkshire.
